About Us

From a Quebec Sugar Shack to Your Australian Table
Growing up, a tin of maple syrup was always within reach — straight from a sugar shack or the local supermarket shelf. That little can carried the taste of home: the smell of wood smoke, the crunch of snow underfoot, and the warmth of something made slowly, with care, the way it had been for generations.
Quebec's maple tradition runs deep. Every spring, as the sap begins to rise through the sugar maples, families across the province gather at their cabanes à sucre — sugar shacks — to tap the trees and boil the sap down into the golden syrup that has defined Canadian culture for centuries. It's not just a product. It's a ritual.
When we moved to Australia, we brought that love with us. But we quickly discovered that the real thing — single-origin, traditionally harvested Quebec maple — was nearly impossible to find. What was available was often blended, diluted, or simply not the same. So we decided to do something about it.
Sourced Directly from Quebec Farmers
Every product we carry is sourced directly from maple farmers in Quebec — the heartland of the world's maple syrup production. We work with producers who follow traditional harvesting methods: tapping the trees by hand each spring, collecting the sap, and boiling it in small batches to preserve the full depth of flavour.
Our maple is single-origin — you know exactly where it comes from. No blending across regions, no mystery sourcing. Just pure Quebec maple, as it should be.
We're proud to carry products that are Eco Certified by the Quebec Maple Federation, the governing body that oversees sustainable maple production across the province. This certification ensures our farmers meet strict environmental standards — protecting the forests that make maple possible for generations to come.
Why Grade A Amber?
Not all maple syrup is created equal. We specifically select Grade A Amber — the classification recognised for its rich, full-bodied flavour and deep golden colour. It's the grade that maple lovers reach for when they want something that actually tastes like maple, not just sweetness.
Our maple butter and caramel spreads are made from the same premium syrup, crafted in small batches to maintain quality from farm to jar. Every product is shipped fresh to Australia, carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition.
Brisbane Local, Canadian at Heart
We're based in Brisbane, and we love being part of the local community. You'll find us at local markets where you can taste before you buy, ask us anything about maple, and pick up your favourites in person.

Whether you're a Canadian expat chasing a taste of home, or an Australian discovering real maple for the first time — we're here for it. This is about more than syrup. It's about sharing a tradition we love with a country we've made our home.
